Marley and Me Saved Our Dog

I dont believe its any secret that we have had mixed feelings about our angel/demon dog, Allie. Well, we've made up our mind. We love her and are keeping her forever! We watched Marley and Me this weekend and have decided she's awesome and we adore her- hence, she's back in the bed, getting taken on extra long runs, and not lacking in the love and adoration department AT ALL! Yay Allie!

Fun with the Fam

We tried to soak in every bit of the good weather this weekend! Here we are in Jackson playing with Powers's family. Here are Ashley, Andrea, and Brooke, our nieces. They are the cutest things ever! Poor Mr. and Mrs. Lane- it is a total mad house with all of us there! We love them so much and thank them for taking us in!

Horsin' Around

What an awesome weekend! Serenity was on Spring Break last week so we were able to sneak away for an extra day and get some great family time in! We spent a few days with booper and chuck then headed to jackson for Powers's nieces birthday weekend. So great! Such a nice break!

We took Renny horseback riding for the first time... Ok, so the horses havent been ridden in....oh say... a good 5 years, so they weren't at all excited about this whole process. One of our horses, Hanky, doesn't like men one bit. He had been relatively mild with powers, until powers decided to sit on him! It was so funny! Hanky was throwing his head around like crazy and every 5 feet or so, he'd pull an about face and head straight back to the barn! Of course mom jumped on him and he did great! Mom's got him wrapped! Here are a bunch of pictures from our day out! Wasn't it beautiful outside? (ps. sorry i look like ive been hit by a truck. I promise i dont always look so bad!)

Mom was so glad to spend time with her horses! She had missed being with them! They love her and are seriously affectionate with her!

Designer Digs

We were finally able to meet Clyde Hollis Fenstermacher this past weekend! He is the funniest thing! He is the spitting image of his daddy! We had such a good time visiting with the F's! They are the best story tellers ever! We giggled the whole time we were there!
Unfortunately, Hollis fell asleep in his pimped out crib (or whatever that new word is for really cool sleeper/funhouse combo thing!) shortly after we got there. We did, however, check out his totally cool designer bedroom! It is ADORABLE! (no surprise there! Everything Katie puts together is adorable!!)

This might be the funniest thing ive ever seen. At this moment, tootie is playing with kitchen toys, totally doing her own thing, but the girls got rhythm that she cant deny! She has learned how to toe tap from somewhere and I've caught her doing it a bunch of times! Just imagine. No arms, no facials, just having a toe tappin good time...

It's SPRING BREAK! Woo Hoo! We have Renny for the week! Its been awesome, she's been having a blasty but poppa and I have been working so we have missed out on all the awesome photog ops! She's is currently roller skating for the first time in her life!! Can you believe that? 8 years of life and never strapped up a roller skate. Blows my mind! Powers called with an update.... she is walking with wheels. Baby steps, sweet renny! One day you'll be tearing up the skating rink with all your circus tricks, just like your dad!

Monday she played with friends and made the worlds largest paper picnic basket. Its enormous! Tuesday she worked in our pastors yard (!!) then went to the zoo. Today's skate day, and tomorrow were headed to Booper and Andaddy's for some good ole outdoor fun! Pretty good spring break, huh?

You only have to watch the first few seconds of this one.... Im not sure what this is, but the kids have this big green frog that ribbits and whenever we press its ribbit, liz does this silent mouth drop thing! We dont know where she got that from!
