Updated Labor Day Weekend

Our sweet friend Trey Garrett emailed me some cute pictures from the Dove Hunt at Mom and Dad's house over Labor Day weekend. Thank you, Trey!

Poor Charley

Poor charley is so beautiful we just don't know what to do with her....

She came over Sunday to help be my style manager. I've never been stylish in the first place, but it seems like anything I did have just disappeared during pregnancy. I wear black pants, colored shirt, and call it an outfit. I had Charles come over and give me a clothes make-over... to which i promptly wore one of her outfits and got compliments all day! She is so with it! :)

Anywho, after our creative outfits meeting, we went to our neighbors house to say hello to powers. Our neighbor is the most generous person ever. He built a neighborhood pool for everyone and he gets his feelings hurt if we're not over there every weekend cooking out and swimming! It is wonderful! There are always a bunch of his friends and their families over there. Charley and I walked up to the pool and it was like someone came over a loud speaker and said 'Gorgeous girl at 10 feet north west, ATTACK ATTACK!!'

All of the friends walked up to meet her and promptly started farming their children off on her! There is one nice teenager there who has been swimming with us a good 8 times but never spoken to me before... he walked right up to us and was all, "This is the cutest baby I've ever seen!! Let me see if I can make her laugh!" Ha! Ha! It was so funny and awkward for Charley!! Lord, she's only got years of that to come, so I guess she better learn how to handle it with grace now! :)

Londie Lu Lu Lane

She's getting so BIG! She is a loooooong little thing and emotionally, I have the hardest time holding her.... it seems like just one second ago I had her all huddled in close because she couldn't hold herself up.. now she's right at home hanging out on my hip and covers half my body! SLOW DOWN CHILD!!! You are breaking my heart growing so fast!

Charley is on a travel team and has been taking personal lessons and is just a killer. Period. She has improved so much since this summer. It is unbelievable! Im going to post a 'Charley' post right after this!

We love, love, love, to swing now!Yes, she's backwards. The sun was in her pretty little eyes!

She has also had a cold this week and I bought her menthol bubble bath so Dad gave LuLu her very first bubble bath the other day! In my humble opinion I think she looks just like me in this pic... which thrills me because most all the time she looks just like her dad! :)

I think she's gotten too big for her bumbo seat. She doesn't do this often, but every once in a while she'll try to hike herself out. We're moving up to the high chair! Woo hoo!

Labor Day weekend...

was an absolute blast... just like always. Labor day is my third favorite holiday, behind Christmas and Thanksgiving, of course! I have no idea how my mom survives this weekend. 7 extra people in the house, 2 extra dogs, and feeding 20 sum odd people lunch on Saturday. I would crack, but she somehow keeps everything just as homey and comfy as ever. She's an amazing host!

We did everything... ate til we almost popped, shopped, went to the park, visited with Papa and lots of other friends, we crammed it all in! Here are some pictures from Labor Day weekend and one other weekend at Mom and Dad's.

The twins looking at our wedding pictures with Trey. They tell you who everyone in all the pictures is, so they spend about an hour going, 'tay tay, pow pow, tay tay and pow pow!' Its fascinating!! :)

What a fun weekend, mom! i love you and am so thankful that you open your house up to us all the time! We've made a lot of beautiful memories there!

Jesus is coming!!!

This morning I walked into Barry and Lauren's house and was greeted by Tootiebeth holding up a plate of 'food' from her play kitchen. She informed me that the food on the plate was for Jesus.

Barry read them a story out of their 'Bible Book' last night and in the prayer it thanked Jesus for coming back again. Barry asked the kids if they knew that Jesus was coming back one day. Elizabeth's eyes lit up and she said, 'Jesus is coming?!?! Will he be here tomorrow when we wake up from nap?!' When she woke up this morning she walked into her dad's office and whispered, 'Daddy, is Jesus coming today?'

 Lizzy couldn't have been more excited (or prepared) that Jesus was coming over today! How precious!

She even put his meal in a play tupperware container so she 'could keep it hot'. Yes, baby girl, Jesus is coming and I hope He comes quickly! Let's keep the food warm for him!! :)

Skater Girl!

Well, our biggest little one has a skate board, 'skate shoes' (as she calls them) and has been practicing her moves! I for one think she's pretty rootin' good for just stepping foot on a skate board! Check out her skills!
