Rhea Family Christmas '08

On to Rhea family Christmas... Dont worry, there will be a repost. My camera died so I had mom send me some pics to post. Of course, she didn't send any of she and dad, so they are in trouble and getting their mugshots posted as punishment! Rule #1 of the crazy aunt managing this website- You are getting posted whether you like it or not!! :)
Christmas this year was.... something! Two 18 month olds makes for a very active vacation! They were all over the place! But, all the same, still adorable! Tootie can now say 'Jesus, Oh Silly, Allie, Amen,Santa' and some form of 'Merry Christmas'! Caden still just laughs at her but it catching up quickly! He does know to hoot, holler, and clap like crazy at the end of every song, even when you're in church!! :) His timing at the new years eve service was spot on!!
I am dying for Charley to get home because she got the COOLEST gifts! She got a wii fit, which you can do yoga on! How cool is that?! Come home, Charles! She also got an itouch and precious clothes, so I cant wait to see her all decked out in her new goodies! She is so gorgeous and grown up! She gets more beautiful every time I see her! I miss her sweet little face!
Barry (Dear Slayer) killed a big dear... i cant remember how many points... 20 or something! And Lauren went hunting for the first time!
Her hunting clothes fit like a glove! (yeah right!!!) She was so cute! They were so precious with thier sweet family! I love being near them because there is so much love between them all! Here are a few pictures from our time in C-town...

Check out that bed head!!

Here are a few of our favorite gifts!

Lane Fam Christmas '08

Powers and I spent an early christmas with his family in Jackson. We picked up Serenity and spent 4 days with Nanna, Poppi, Melanie, Derek, Ashley, Andrea, and Brooke. House Full!! We had a blast! We got great professional photos made at Portrait Innovations! (cheap plug, but it was a great experience!) We were in and out in 45 minutes, had pictures taken, paid for, and in hand by the time we left. I highly recommend their studio for anyone with children!
The visit was nonstop and seemed like we had just walked in the door when we were turning around and leaving! We were able to spend great time with extended family and friends and could have stayed another 4 days and not fit everything in! The holidays are too few... we need so much more good family time! Here are some pictures from our visit!

Chrimatime, chrimatime, chrimatime!

Ok, you all get to experience all of our christmas's! Here was our schedule: Taylor/Powers- Lane Family Christmas. Whole Fam- Rhea Family Christmas. Barry/Lauren and rugrats- Brett Family Christmas. Everyone gets a turn, so here goes!

12 years old and counting...

Welcome to your 12th glorious year of life, right Charley Bug?? Our little girl is all growed up! It makes me so sad! She wears make up and does yoga and thinks boys are cool. Yuk! What happened to the precious little thing that walked around with her arms in the air saying 'Hold you??" when she wanted to be picked up?!?! If only I could reverse the hands of time...
Well, on a positive note, Charley had a super cool bowling party with umpteen of her closest friends! They seemed to be having a blast bowling in the black light 'glow bowl' section! Her friends are adorable and the boys were funny! They bowled as HARD AS THEY COULD! They looked like they were all going to throw a shoulder out, but hey, they did look strong! Mission accomplished! Her mom is sending me more pictures since Powers and I were only able to get a few, so please be watching for a repost with more pics! Happy Birthday, my angel face! I love you so much!!

Check out that form! Get it girl!!

WE LOVE THE MALL!!!

Barry was out of town this weekend slaying deer, so Powers and I offered to take the babies to the mall with Lauren so she could get some shopping done. First off, i now understand valet parking at the mall. My husbands attack on mall parking is this: if we park our car in the middle of the row behind the first 20 parking spaces, we'll get a good space eventually. I love the way men work! Ya'll are funny creatures!
On a less stressful note, the twins LOVE the mall! They were totally enthralled with all the people and lights and activity! We split up- Powers took Caden, I stayed with Lizzy. Precious curly head spent the first 20 minutes running around calling 'Daden..... Pow Pow....'! It was so cute! We finally met up with them and went to ride the carousel. Carousel= most. fun. ever. They LOVED it! They were so excited and stomping their feet and just being adorable. Caden's new word is "WHOA!" and Lizzy's is "WOW!!" Here's Liz practicing her new fav phrase....

Here are other cute pics from our ride. We all had so much fun!

He's so handsome...

Charley's First School Dance

Oh my. Definitely an event that I wasn't ready for. Our first school dance. Luckily, Powers taught Charley the 'get back' dance move if her man decided he was going to come in for the 'dancing too close kill'. She has no hope of a normal life! We are all so protective!! :) Hopefully I can get that little dance move jewel on video and post it as a follow up! It was a keeper! Here's charley getting her nails done! I'll have to get more pictures of her all dolled up and follow up post those also!

Happy Feet Missions- Ecuador 2008

This november, Powers (Taylor's husband) and a group of 18 men went to Ecuador for a missions trip. Happy Feet Missions is based on sharing the word of God with villagers who have never heard of Jesus. The conditions in most of the villages were, to us, unlivable. It seemed most people didn't live past their teenage years due to death by disease and extreme poverty. They, sadly though, have never had an introduction to their maker! The guys spent 6 days sharing the gospels and washing the feet of these villagers. They gave them new socks and shoes, which is a major need in these communities. We welcomed over 600 new believers into our Kingdom during their time there! How amazing! It still leaves me speechless.... All we need to do is plant the seed. Our God is powerful enough to bring hundreds. We need only to be willing to go...

The Wonderful World of Blogging!

Ok, I have been anti-blog for years now, but have loved keeping up with my friends and their kid-o's through their blogs! I now have a gorgeous inherited little spunk of my own and three amazing nieces and nephews to keep everyone updated on! I know its weird that Im blogging about kids that dont biologically belong to me, but trust me, their mom has WAY too much going on to worry about posting new pics for everyone to see! I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update this jewel, but stick with me while we run beta version 2009!
