Post Baby Shower in Jackson

We spent a great weekend in Jackson with the Lane clan. The Lane ladies and honorary Lane lady (mrs. gail) threw us a post baby shower! We officially have enough clothes to last through year one! Woo hoo! It was wonderful to see everyone and as always, there is just nothing like being home! London loved meeting her great-grandparents too!

She might have been a little clingy at first… which is always a-okay by momma!!

Punkin with Maw Maw- here’s to hoping she has maw maw’s sweet spirit! What a wonderful lady!

My best friend Jill’s baby is just the cutest! Here she is after she stuffed practically a whole cupcake in her mouth! It was so funny!

And here she is modeling one of our favorite gifts… a cupcake toboggan! This is too cute!

Serenity and Brookey made chocolate chip cookies for everyone which was loads of fun!

Seriously sleeping

Mrs. Gail- she got an hour of nothing but smiles and giggles from little! It was great! She couldn’t help but love Gail from the get go!

Who can’t help but smile ear to ear all the time now! How wonderful! She laughed at her daddy the other day and he is hooked! He asks her to do it for him all the time now! :) She. Is. Wonderful. In. Every. Way.

Bedtime fun! We practice pulling up every night before bed and her facials are just awesome!

And this video is definitely just for the family… I’m certain no one else will find this totally fascinating! London has started waking up in fabulous moods in the mornings and I caught a few of her sweet smiles on camera the other day! More to come I’m sure! She’s now doing the smiles that take over her face! Can’t wait to get a video of those!

might have quite a future in photography ahead of her… She’s picked up a camera a few times lately and caught some wonderful, sweet moments…..

I hereby hand over my stalker duties because sweet thing is better qualified for paparazzing our beloved family members than I am! She’s just amazing and I love Charley Bug so much!

Easter 2010

The whole entire family loaded up and headed to Columbus this past weekend for Easter with the Rhea’s! My poor parents! On top of all the chaos that we already have with 9 extra people in the house, powers and I had to go and add lucky number 10! I think London was well welcomed though and they were happy to have her! (Now, the extra dogs that we all bring…. maybe not so much, but they’re family too!)

The best part of the weekend was getting to spend so much time with my grandfather, PaPa! He met his 7th great grandchild this weekend so that was very cool! He was doing great also which made me feel so much better! He has mad major improvements over the past 2 months and I am so proud of him!!

We dyed easter eggs which was so fun! Caden and Elizabeth LOVED it but they would not take their eggs out of the dye so we got some really bright eggs! They wanted an egg in the cup, then they just wanted to beat it around in there for an hour or so! :) We loved the bright eggs though so all the kids started doing it!

Easter Morning.. London’s great-grandmother smocked this dress for me when I was a baby. Charley, Lizzy, and now London have all worn it since!

Here they are! Too bad this sweet thing didn’t get one single physical attribute from her mother! I’m holding out to see if maybe she acts like me… or talks like me…. or something! You wouldn’t know she were mine if I hadn’t incubated her for so long! :) She sure is good lookin’ tho!
