Chick-Fil-A Rocks

We (like most everyone else in the country) love Chick-Fil-A. They have employed a few of our friends, they are unabashedly Christian, and they are generous. A few times a year, they will have 'free sandwich days' or something of the sort. This past Friday, they had 'dress like a cow, get a free meal' day. FREE MEAL?? Don't think for one hot second that I wasn't taking part in a whole free meal for everyone in the family! Another thing I love about Chick-Fil-A, if you didn't have a cow costume, they provided a printable one on their website. Powers is on some funky diet, so he didn't dress up, but the 3 ladies did and we had a blast! We giggled and giggled! Some times full on embarrassment is the best kind of fun!

Gearing up..
Not thrilled about wearing a snout!

Cow tail! :)

 Kisses from the calf

Beautiful Girl!

I won't say in my humble opinion, because I don't think this is only my opinion at all. This child is gorgeous. Take your breath away beautiful. To top it off, she's incredibly bright, funny, and shockingly more sweet than she is beautiful!
She is however absent minded at times and says some of the most backwards things! I think she just gets to talking and is paying attention to something else so these funny smash up stories come out of her mouth. She was telling me all about the awesome cheesecake at a restaurant the other day.. a restaurant that I was quiet surprised would sell cheesecake... and finally at the end of the story she blurts out 'Grilled Cheese! I meant Grilled Cheese!!' A little word substitution keeps everyone confused! :)

Archie continued

I misplaced this folder of pictures that mom emailed me of Archie, then newest member of the fam. Isn't he adorbs?? We had the twins 4th bday this weekend and between mom and I we have at least 100 pictures. I've got a lot of work to do for the bday post, so I'm getting these small posts out quickly to clear my plate!
Eat him up!!

4th of July Videos

Here are a few videos from our 4th vacation. While we were there we saw a tiny little 15 month old boy who could swim... all the way underwater, moving forward, and would pop up when it was time to breathe. He could also dive for toys at the bottom of the pool. Unbelievable. Powers stated at that moment that London was going to be a good swimmer by the time we left! We had her in the water the whole weekend and she really did great! We would get her to hold her breath and dunk her under water and she would kick kick kick like crazy! She never had any forward movement, but I was so proud of her for improving so quickly! She also saw all the other kids holding their noses before they went under water so occasionally she would hold her nose then jump underwater! So cute! I love swimming with her! She's right at home in the water!

Walking down the boardwalk. She's a big girl now :(

Getting swamped by the waves with daddy. Sorry it's turned sideways... I don't know how to edit it!

4th of July

The 4th is our anniversary weekend! It's a great time to just relax. The 4 of us headed down to the beach for a long weekend of doing nothing and we had a great time! I finally got some great pics too! Woo hoo!
I love this one of Renny!
London loved the 'wash your feet' station. She spent 1/3 of her pool time either turning the faucet on and off or drinking from the spicket!

She loved the ocean/sand this time too! She got SWAMPED by a few waves so we dug pounds of sand out of her britches! The undertow was also really strong so I was a little worried that she'd get scared of the force of it, but of course she loved it. The ocean was owning her but she would run right back into it every time!

 Sporting a belt!
Renny wrapped her up tight for nap (in the biggest car sear known to man)!
They love each other so much!
 Out!

I have video's also but it will take a minute for them to load. Ill post those later! The twins 4th birthday is this weekend so hopefully I'll have some great pictures of the whole fam for the blog!

Congratulations to the new parents!

Booper and Andaddy! That's right!  Mom and dad are the proud parents of a brand new baby boy.. Archie Rhea! We are all so excited to see this huge chunk of love (and I mean huge!) come to find a home with our family! Barry and Lauren picked him up in Florida this past weekend and from what mom says, he has quickly gotten comfortable in his new home! She says he plays so hard for 1 hour then passes out flat on his tummy for an hour! She's also (for the time being) getting up every 3 hours to let him outside! She really is a new mom!!
Here are some pictures of this big ole chunk of lovin! ( I obviously don't know how to take pictures in a mirror so the glare doesn't kill the picture. I'll have to get a teenager to give me a lesson!)

Random Pictures Post

Powers's newest culinary creation... 'Good Un's'. They are fantastic. Nothing beats them on a hot day at the pool!

London's first wing! She chewed on this chicken wing for a solid hour! Cutie!
First time to paint our toenails together!

Caden completely conked out in the car... Burger King crown still on and everything!
Renny made London PB&J sushi for lunch one day!
The twins at the beach a few weeks ago... how cute are they?! Adorable!
