My Pretty Young Thing
Just a cute night with the fam...
We've all been working on teaching them how to say 'Peace' and now they've got it!

Clearwater Community high horse!
What an amazing Sunday! We started our Sunday worship with a
good ole' southern style 'Victory in Jesus'... clappin, toe tappin,
the whole thing! IT. WAS. AWESOME! You can't help but be ready
to receive a message after starting a morning like that!
Our church is so unreal! I am so happy that we have all found our
home there! I venture to say that no place can bring you to
intimacy with our Lord like our old, perfect gym turned sanctuary!
Every time I walk in the door, I am propelled to place of time with
Him that literally feels like I am sitting at his feet, enthralled by
His words. We are so, so blessed to have found our home.
Then, last night, we had our second Wild Night! (Fun nights for
anyone really, but its geared towards the kids). Its always so
good to hang out with our friends, but the chance to dance
around and sing like crazy people doesn't hurt either! The
skit they did was absolutely hilarious! I wish i would have video
taped it (although you wouldn't have heard any of it because I
was dying laughing the whole time!) That is such a cool way to
reinforce the kids of our church... to show them that they can be
undignified when worshiping... and that they are surrounded by
crazy folks who want to do the same thing!
I love the program that Tommy Ray has put in place! Serenity
came running up to me afterwords, jumped in my lap, and screamed
'I love our church!!' I hope that same excitement resonates in her
heart forever! I hope it does mine too! Our God is so good, and
forgiving, and powerful. I'm amazed at his perfect plan!
I wish I had a zillion pictures so you could share in this day with
me, but my battery died on my camera. :( Also, a little lagniappe
just in case you'd like to sing along... I sang this little ditty all day
yesterday! Perfect song to be stuck in your head, don't you
think?!
I heard an old, old story, how the Savior came from Glory
How He gave His life at Calvary, to save a wretch like me
I heard about His groaning, of His precious love’s atoning
Then I repented of my sins, and won the victory.
Oh, victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me, and bought me with His redeeming blood
He loved me ere, I knew Him, and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory, beneath the cleansing flood.
I heard about a mansion He has built for me in glory,
And I heard about the streets of gold beyond the crystal sea
About the angels singing and the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I’ll sing up there the song of victory.
(chill bumps! I can't wait for the Kingdom!)

feelin sassy
Not sure why I'm feeling so sassy- I'm kicking a day old pony tail, haved rubbed all my makeup off, and my pants are too tight! Ahhh! Who knew having a baby would make you tubbers? I've been telling myself all day that these are skinny pants, but I think that's a BIG OLE' white lie! Blue Baby is only like 1/2 inch big! How come my pants are too tight?!?
Anywho, regardless of the way I look, I'm feelin' faboo! Going to pick up ren and our favorite friends (who are presh and have AWESOME manners) are coming over for a spend the night party.
Best part of the weekend? Its my two favorite tiny people's 2nd bday today!!! Yay! AND the whole family is coming to town to celebrate! Whooo hoo! I love some good old fashion family time!

4th of July: 1st anniversary of marital bliss and 2nd anniversary of terrorizing the twins
Precursor. We took a lot of pictures. I'm going to divide this post into days so I don't overwhelm anyone with our massive amounts of pictures. I've got to get a handle on this! Between mom and I, we probably had 200 pictures from the weekend. I am so thankful for digital cameras! What would I have done with the old school film?!
4th of July was great for our family! The whole Rhea/Lane clan packed it up and road tripped it over to Chuckles and Booper's house. We played outside a lot, cooked out, relaxed, dodged the 30 dogs that seem to congregate at the house when everyone's home.... it was just one of the perfect weekend's at home that I love. Powers said it right, something about being at my parent's house just makes you hungry! We had awesome food all weekend and are so thankful for Booper's hard work in making every meal a big deal! You can hear her beatin' around the kitchen long before anyone wakes up in the morning! I love my mom! She's the greatest!
Anywho, here's a little ditty about the night of the 4th. We all went to West Point for BBQ and fireworks. If anyone was with us last year, you'll remember it was great fun, but the twins were horrified by the fireworks. One year later, nothings changed. Here are all the horrific things that were happening this year: A super scary hot air balloon, tiki torches, sparklers, and fireworks. They did love the jumpy rooms but it was a jungle in there and we were afraid they were going to come out mauled with 4 black eyes! Charley and Renny were on the lookout for all the cool give aways so they ran around doing their own thing most of the time.
Overall, it was a great night but until the kido's decide fireworks are cool, the Rhea's might not make this an annual event :(

Totally forgot to post... we bought a house!!!
It will be great for us! Our only problem is that right now its a 2 bedroom house and we just filled up the guest room with baby! Whoops! We're gonna start working on a basement guestroom soon! Sorry we look like a hot mess in the pics... it was BURNIN' hot outside!

Muscadine (or some sort of 'dine) trellis. It's so cool underneath there! We're going to try to have a dinner party under there one day soon. Its kept perfectly to walk underneath!

We also just traded power's jeep in and gotten the most soccer mom car ever! We love it though and are totally ready for family! New house, check. Bun in the oven, check. Family car, check. Taylor has set an informal family rule that nothing new or exciting can happen to us for the next 3 years. Momma was a little overwhelmed last week and is super excited about life slowing down for the next few months! :) I love my passionate husband though and know excitement is just part of our lifestyle!
Poor Powers. His 'get it done' wife is now down for the count on moving anything heavy and painting. How did I time that so perfectly? I'm packing the boxes, picking out colors, then passing off a honey-do list to the hubbs! Way to go, Tay Tay!

Satistied in the Promises of my Savior
6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe him,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness a]">[a] will go before you,
and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: Here I am.
"If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
with the pointing finger and malicious talk,
10 and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness,
and your night will become like the noonday.
11 The LORD will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
