As a joint birthday gift, Booper gave Barry and Chuckles a day at Talladega Racing Adventure. The idea is you can go to Talladega, learn how to drive a real Nascar race car, then you actually get to get on the track with a group of other drivers and RACE!!! Just like the real thing! There is an instructor in the car with you, but he is just sitting in the passenger seat- he doesn’t have any emergency controls or anything. From the sound of it, he is really just an in-car cheerleader!
Barry has officially decided that he may explore being a racecar driver as his new profession. They loved it! Mom emailed that Dad had even gone to bed with a smile on his face! (And for those of you that know dad, that is not a common occurrence!) Ask Barry about his day there- then watch his face light up! It was a GREAT gift! They had an awesome time! Good job, Boopster!
