Easter 2011

We headed to Jackson this Easter to celebrate with Nana, Poppi, Renny and Gail (honorary aunt). We had an absolute blast! The Lane's are great in-laws and grandparents... they are the get on the floor and play with the baby kind of grandparents! Poor Nana, London likes to get pushed on anything that rolls, and I don't know how many trips around the house she made with Lulu in tow! We got into town on Friday and the highlight was absolutely when Serenity walked in the door. London went nuts! She was so excited to see her big sister! Very cute! Saturday we went to the pool and braved the cold water, went on an easter egg hunt at the club house, then went to visit Powers' grandmother. I had a girls night Saturday night with two of my best friends! Woo hoo! Sunday we went to church then had the other set of grand parents over for an awesome lunch. We all ate until we hurt... especially London. She must be in a growth spurt because she ate.... and ate.... and ate... and ate... all weekend long! Hungry monkey! Best part of the weekend was listening to London and Serenity crack each other up! Serenity would chase London and L would laugh so hard she would have to lay down on the floor because she couldn't move! It was music to my ears! It was such a great visit! We love seeing our family and this trip was just awesome! Here are a hundred pictures of our fun weekend!

London's new 'floaty' swimsuit! It is hilarious! There is a huge float pad in the front and back and when she sits, it covers almost her whole face! She looked just like a little easter egg! I couldn't stop laughing at her little buoyant self!

Biggest easter egg of the weekend....

Our very first easter egg hunt! She did great! It was so cute to watch her pick her eggs up and put them in her little basket!

Renny hunting easter eggs... she looks thrilled, huh? She actually had fun, despite this 'please dont take my picture' face!

I ended up at the snack table and picked up a green cupcake... I looked away and turned around and London had grabbed a handful of icing and had it all over herself! Once she was dirty, I figured I'd let her enjoy it! She was a total mess! It was so fun!

This isn't a great picture of London's easter dress, but you can see it a little bit. Nana bought her this cute little number in Honduras while she was on vacation. It was precious!
A little 'just Renny' time... every little girl needs that...
