Blowin'

London's learned how to blow her nose! Here's a quick video of her on the way home from church Sunday... I love this new trick!

She also had learned how to say "turtle" and she says it all the time! I'll have to get a video of it, precious! However, I would like to note that she has NOT said 'purple' since last time I posted. That was a one time occurrence and she is tight lipped about saying that again! :)

Congrats to Charley Rhea!!

Time to brag on the big baby gorgeous girl! Charley was just accepted into the Engineering Academy at Hoover High School. Eng. Academy is an educational program for kids that are interested in going into higher education engineering. Applicants grades have to be exceptional to qualify, then they have to pass an interview process.

I believe HHS is the only school in the nation offering this program, but I read on their website where they are trying to expand this program to other schools. A few stats: the average college scholarship for people who graduate from Engineering Academy is $204,000. 92% of Eng Academy graduates are still in collegiate engineering programs.

That is as much as I know for now, but like the rest of the family, we are oh so proud of our smart little lady! If you see her, encourage her! Her high school classes will be hard, but worth it! Congratulations, Charley Bug! I couldn't be prouder of you! I love you!

Sweaty Sleeper

Someone sweats in her sleep.. just like her daddy when he was a kid. Not helping things, I have a tendency to keep the house a little on the blazing hot side... I worry about Lulu not having enough clothes on when she sleeps. Clearly, she has on plenty!

Funky Caden

Im decades behind on being 'computer savvy' so I know nothing about photo programs or picture manipulation... however, my computer has a fun photo booth program that will let you take pictures in all these weird ways. Caden came to the office for a visit one day this winter and we tried taking some pictures. He giggled like a monkey the whole way through this! It was so fun! Sorry so late on posting these, I just found them!

The lunch break i love the most

I got a call last week from Barry... he needed some papers that he left at the office and wanted me to bring them by his house. I gladly accepted the task... nothing like getting out of the office for a minute! So, forms and camera in hand, I headed over to B. Rhea's... totally excited to see my 2 favorite twin munchkins! I never have any 'just twins time' with them anymore, so it was great to just BE with them for a minute. We laughed and took goofy pictures and read Cinderella... with one kid on each leg. I love these precious little people so much!

Inspired

I have been blog inspired lately. Since I signed up for Facebook, I've found all my friends blogs. This has been awesome, but has made me feel like a blogging looser! All the blogs I've read are so eloquently written that they bring me to tears, or so funny I have to cover my mouth not to laugh out loud, or so colorful that you feel like your walking through life with the family. Mine.... I've got 2 minutes to post so I post the shortest, most succinct version of whatever story Im trying to tell. Get in and get it done. Oh, and a few pictures for good measure. I have decided this is unexceptable. I don't want any of our lives to be re-read as the 'short version' of life. I want to live a life well lived and I want to tell stories on my family that represent exactly that!

We spent the weekend in Columbus with my family this weekend. It was... relaxing. Isn't home always relaxing? I slept like the dead. Must've needed it. My favorite picture from the weekend...
95 years old and holding strong. He wasn't doing great this trip. He seemed a little down, but Mom says there are still good days and bad days. He sure looks cute in his baby blue jacket though doesn't he? Best part, London started saying "Paw Paw" while we were there! She said it over and over... he only heard her once, but he lit up when it heard her on his own! I was so glad he was able to hear her!

We spent the rest of the weekend getting some sun, petting the horses, and letting Renny drive the golf cart around Mom and Dad's place. She. Loved. It. She would say, "That was some GOOOOOD driving I did right there!" So funny! Here are a few pictures of London's first horse experience. I thought she would at least be wide eyed, but nope. It was just another animal for her! She wrapped her arms around Red's neck and just sat there an loved on him!

Church on Sunday was great... my parents church started a contemporary service and people are flocking to it! It was so great to visit with people I haven't seen in years! I am so excited for FBC of Columbus... there is something amazing going on there!
Other news, We've decided it's time to start disciplining LuLu. (heart break) She is the worst at throwing things. I know this is normal, but its so annoying at dinner time when she throws all her food on the floor and when she launches her milk cup across the room... Drives me crazy. She started throwing food last night and I slammed my hand down on her high chair and said "NO LONDON". She gave me the most pitiful look and her little bottom lip started quivering!! She held it together but it was the saddest thing I've ever seen! I hate this part of parenthood! Anyway, there is the real version of our weekend... not the short version! Here a few more pictures from our great time in C-town!

Because I don't want to forget...

I know this is going to pass quickly, so I wanted to make sure I document it while I've got the chance. London is teething (constantly I think). However, we currently have 4 teeth. The two bottom middle teeth and her two lateral incisors (I looked that up.) She is missing her two top middle teeth and it is the cutest thing ever! Her grin is infectious because of the precious gap in her teeth! The two middle should be popping through any day now so I wanted to make sure I caught this on camera while I could. ps. it took 10 minutes to get these pictures... she did not want our hands in her mouth so we had to make her laugh out loud to get pictures! So fun!

Relaxing

Caden and Lizzy Dancing

I haven't gotten anything fun of the twins lately... and I dont know why because they are both full of fun stuff! They talk CONSTANTLY! (3 year olds) but everything they say is so funny! I've got to do a better job of having my camera out at the right moment. In the meantime, here are the twins dancing...

London learning to walk

I am going to add to this post later on today. I've been loading these videos for two days now and they are taking FOREVER! Not sure what is going on!

This is the video I took of my baby when I walked in to find her walking all by herself! I am so proud of her!

This is a few hours later... good improvement! The video that's taking so long is a little more improvement and now she can push her little toy one handed! Still scared to let go and try it on her own, but we'll get there!

Finally loaded! this was the next day... scootin! I love her to death! I love this new found independence!

Other cuteness

Forgot to write in our last post... we can now blow kisses, kiss when we're in the mood, say blue (boo), and say A-Choo, which is so fun! We say that one alot!

Also, today is my big brothers birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARRY RHEA!! We all love you so much!
