Tribute to Mom

Where to start. She's beautiful, she's a sweetheart, she's funny, she's adaptable, she's loving, she's generous, she's healthy, she's the hardest worker in the world, she's a great back rubber, she never eats her whole meal and always gives us leftovers (yay mom!) she's an awesome magazine collector, she's a great cook, she's sensitive, she knows her plants and gives great advice on what to do with a very random yard, she is the picture of the woman you hope to look up to, she even loves our chickens!

What more could you ask for? She is the best mom in the whole world!

Mom came to B'ham to keep me company and work her fingers to the bone this past Thursday and Friday. We worked, and worked, and worked, and worked! When we do home renovations, there is a lot that needs to take place before the renovations can begin! We totally re-did one full room and got half way through our second. She even was offering to come back and do more as soon as we can get back together!

I am going to post our recent renovation pictures in just a minute, so be watching for the baby's room! I love it so much! It's perfect!

OH!!! And while she was here, guess what happened?!?! I FELT THE BABY MOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME! It was the most amazing feeling! I just cried and cried and praised my sweet Lord for his goodness and His perfect way of knitting life together! How amazing! I was so glad Mom was there to experience that with me! She was so excited!

I love you momma. You are my hero!

Zedonky Donk.... Bedonky Donk!

Ok, I am sorry about the massive amount of pictures, but I haven't gotten to spend time with the Beyer family in along time, so I took advantage of the opportunity! Plus, my step daughter is super photogenic, so it is hard not to take pictures of her! :)

I went to Jackson this weekend to see Renny, the Out-Laws, and The Beyer Family. We had a wonderful time as usual! Saturday afternoon we drove a little out of town to a Pumpkin Patch. It was a gorgeous day and perfect for a hay ride/pumpkin pick! I haven't done anything like that since I was a kid, so I for one LOVED it! We had a great time and as you can tell, had plenty of photo opps!
Renny, Ashley, Andrea, and BrookeMelanie is the horse, BFF Gail is the sheep, I am the peacock and Mom Nance is the goose!

The Beyer Girls

Cutest Couple!

The Grandkids

Can you see the ring through his nose? Shesh!

Cute little booger! He apparently was a pest because he kept bothering his other cagemates!

Gail named this chicken Tina Turner! Quite the hairdo!

The hayride

She's just beautiful!

This is a Zedonk. Seriously. Half donkey, half zebra. I don't even want to know how this happened. Melanie kept singing 'Zedonky donk... bedonky donk' so I promised that would be the title of this weeks blog!

All i know to do is shake my head....

Hay Maze

After the pumpkin patch we went to Maw Maw's to visit which was great! She is so sweet and I really enjoyed talking with her! She is just as cute as she can be! Then Mel stopped by a store to grab a few things for the twins. Brooke, Renny, and I entertained ourselves while we waited...

Baby Bump Pics! 20 wks

Finally! Mom came to stay with me for a few days last week (ahhhhhhhhh. Just having Mom in your house is cause to exhale and relax! It was WONDERFUL having her and she is bar none the greatest mom in the whole world. I am so very lucky! More to come on her wonderfulness!) Anyway, I asked her to take a few bump pics for the blog so here you go!
These were taken at 20 weeks. It has gone down a little since then... mom said that the banana just turned in instead of out! So, we are a little smaller now, but still growing everyday! Whooo hoo! I told mom it is the strangest feeling that every morning I run to the mirror to see how much BIGGER I've gotten! Isn't that totally backwards?! Pregnancy is weird and wonderful!

Wolf! Now were half way there!

Well! I cried wolf! In my defense, Im a first time momma, so I don't know what Im doing!! I said we were half way there at 4.5 months... I forgot this whole weeks system! Well, we are 20 weeks and NOW half way there! :)

We feel awesome! Not too much new to report except that the pregnant belly POPPED OUT Monday! We went from a 'taylor can tell that her belly is orb-like' to 'whoa nelly, there's a baby in there!' I have to admit, I LOVE IT! It was hard for me to adapt to the orb belly... im just not used to being odd shaped, but now, odd is in! I love this little round thing!

We really miss Dad and his warm hands. :( Allie is doing her best to curl up next to us and keep us warm, but Dad is just the best at calming us! No moving around yet... any day now I bet!

Look at us this week! (This kind of makes me not want to eat banana's anymore... they're not on my 'natural birth' diet anyway, so I guess this is a sign!)

Stalker aunt is back in action!!

Ok, well, I don't know why the blog is acting up for me! I can't get my pictures to move around! So, these are going to be a little all over the place! Barry and Lauren invited me over for dinner last night to keep me company while the man is gone. We had a great time! The whole family was there and surprisingly, Charley was excited about the blog and was all about taking pictures! Yay charley! It's so good to have you on here, girl!
Anyway, Charley was awesome and just as sweet as ever (like always)! She was tired, so we had to explain to Dad that teenage girls need ALOT of sleep and she's not at all being lazy! The babies were just precious and have a whole new list of interests! My new favorite thing to hear... the kido's saying 'Mon, tay tay, play!' To which I answer with a resounding 'OKAY!'
I really just want to leave a huge spot blank here to show my feelings of how there are no words to say how cute all three of them are at these ages! Charley gets sweeter and more kind every time I see her. The twins have the BEST baby manners and are just GREAT! No terrible two's here! They are really awesome kids!
They can count to ten, name all their colors, say a whole array of new words, and they both love choo choo trains! (Liz still loves phones, purses, and high heels, so don't worry!)

Caden's new hilarious thing was this: we would flip through the pictures on my camera and when we would get to one he liked, he say, 'Awwwwwwwww!' Hilarious! Anyway, on to the pictures!

I shared my ice cream with the kids... This one is right before Elizabeth sneezed all over mine! It was really funny! We never caught Caden's ice cream face... the face where it shocks him that ice cream is cold so he makes this really alarmed face... it's so funny! He did however, say 'that's cold!' after every single bite! :)

Showing off their bb's!

Caden licking my ice cream... we weren't short on shared germs during dessert!

Charles pre-eat! She took most of these pictures so a big thank you to her!!

I love this one!

She was talking to Elmo...

Hush your mouth with that cuteness!

Charley's softball shoes! Totally team spirited!
